Kiev (Kyiv)

Capital of Ukraine, an important industrial, scientific, educational and cultural center of Eastern Europe, home to many high-tech industries, educational and scientifical institutions. Kiev is known as a green city with 2 botanical gardens, numerous large and small parks.

Ukraine's third largest city. A vital industrial center of Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk was one of the key centers of the nuclear, arms, and space industries of the former Soviet Union. In particular, it is home to Yuzhmash, a major space and ballistic missile designer and manufacturer.

Donetsk (Donets'k)


Unofficial capital of eastern Ukraine and largest city of the economic and cultural Donets Basin (Donbas) region. Biggest industrial, scientific, educational and cultural center of eastern Ukraine. Third by population and one of the most developed regional centers of country. Considered as one of the biggest student market for study abroad.
